As the fourth film in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides promises to duplicate all of the laughs, action, and excitement from the first three films.
The plot
Captain Jack Sparrow is reunited with a mysterious woman from his past, but he’s not sure if it’s fate bringing them together or if she is using him to get to the mythical Fountain of Youth. After she lures him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, ship of the evil pirate Blackbeard, Sparrow doesn’t know whether to trust her, or fear her as he does Blackbeard. With huge doses of suspense and humour, coupled with the biggest of the big screens, Pirates of the Caribbean at IMAX screenings are sure to thrill the whole family.
All star cast
Although the majority of the limelight will shine on Depp for his portrayal of the comical Captain Jack Sparrow, the remaining cast is nothing short of all star. Geoffrey Rush is coming off his Oscar nominated role in The King's Speech to continue his role as Captain Barbosa, a villain turned ally who helps Jack Sparrow attempt to find the Fountain of Youth. The Pirates of the Caribbean at IMAX screenings also star Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Gemma Ward, and Judi Dench.
