Players Lounge at Gilgamesh

Sample some special cocktails and Wimbledon tennis inspired food at the Players Lounge at Gilgamesh. The popular Pan Asian restaurant will be hosting the pop up bar throughout the tennis championships, so you can get in the spirit of things even if you haven't managed to get tickets for centre court.

Visitors to the Players Lounge at Gilgamesh can sample a limited edition Murray Martini cocktail made from Murray Mint infused vodka, and watch the tennis matches live from Wimbledon on the screens within the bar. The bar at Gilgamesh will be decked out in astroturf, and staff will be wearing sporty clothes and trainers to conjure up the right sort of atmosphere.

As well as the Murray Martini cocktail, drinkers can also sip on Tiger Beer, Champagne Moutard Grand Cuvee, and other summery tipples to keep your refreshment levels topped up. Bringing a Pan Asian theme to the Players Lounge at Gilgamesh, head chef Ian Pengelly has also created some strawberry and cream wontons for tennis fans to fill up on during the games.

The Players Lounge at Gilgamesh is open from Monday 22nd June- Sunday 5th July 2009. Admission is free.
