Get your hands on Prick Up Your Ears tickets and see Matt Lucas star in a brand new play from acclaimed writer Simon Bent, as a hilarious yet moving tale of the playwright Joe Orton is brought to the Comedy Theatre stage. Prick Up Your Ears tickets will enable theatre fans to see Con O'Neill play the role of Orton’s lover, Kenneth Halliwell, joined on stage by Chris New as Joe Orton himself.

Fans of new theatre will no doubt be eager to get their hands on Prick Up Your Ears tickets as not only does Prick Up Your Ears feature an all-star cast, it also features some stellar talent behind the scenes, not least from its writer Simon Bent. Fresh from sell-out runs from his adaptation of John Irving’s novel A Prayer For Owen Meany, Bent has previously adapted the hugely successful Elling starring John Simm as well as enjoying huge success in television.

Con O'Neill
Taking one of the lead roles in this stage production of Prick Up Your Ears is star of stage and screen, Con O'Neill, who has replaced the former lead, Matt Lucas, who sadly had to leave the production aftre the death of his ex husband. Con O'Neill's role in Prick Up Your Ears looks set to be every bit as impressive though, so expect to be wowed.

The tale
Prick Up Your Ears tells the story of the two infamous playwrights, Kenneth Halliwell and Joe Orton, inspired by the John Lahr biography and Orton’s own diaries. The play charts the rise of Orton’s career to one of the most notorious playwrights of the century, before imagining what it might have been like for Halliwell behind closed doors as he is reduced to sharing his lover’s success with Mrs Corden, their dear old neighbour.
