Pick up Private Lives tickets and see Noel Coward’s fascinating dark comedy starring two of television’s favourite stars, Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall and Spooks’ Matthew Macfayden. Private Lives tickets will enable theatre fans to enjoy one of Noel Coward’s most popular comedies of manners, as the Vaudeville Theatre welcomes the witty and often risque play to the capital for the first time since its fiftieth anniversary was celebrated earlier in the year.

Pick up Private Live tickets
Those who manage to get their hands on Private Lives tickets will be treated to typically amusing play from Coward which sees Elyot and Amanda - two estranged spouses - end up in adjoining rooms whilst honeymooning with their new beaus. What follows is an exploration of their past desires and love without even a thought for the scandal or problems that their Private Lives might provoke, all hilariously contemplated by Coward’s insightfully amusing pen.

Impressive talent
Private Lives boasts not only Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden in its impressive ranks, with directorial duties coming under the control of acclaimed director, Richard Eyre. Eyre has received five Olivier awards over a career spanning nearly half a century, and is generally regarded as one of the best directors in the theatre world. Eyre’s last London production was the highly acclaimed The Reporter at the National in 2007, so Private Lives sees him make a welcome return to the capital.

Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden
Leading the cast in the Vaudeville Theatre’s production of Private Lives are two incredibly well known names in the acting world, Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden. Although both are perhaps best known for their work on television, both have considerable stage pedigree, with Cattrall starring in the Donmar’s The Cryptogram and Whose Life Is It Anyway. Macfadden’s last London theatre appearance came via The Pain And The Itch but has also played a number of Shakespearean roles at theatres across the country.

Private Lives tickets are now available for performances of the Noel Coward play at the Vaudeville Theatre, running from Wednesday 24th February – Saturday 1st May 2010. To purchase tickets please click the Buy Tickets button.
