Putney Christmas Lights

Join in the festive fun with the switching on of the Putney Christmas lights. The Christmas tree lights will shine out on an evening of family entertainment and shopping as Putney ushers in the yuletide season.

Christmas market
To accompany the Putney Christmas lights, a market sellng everything from deli food and fresh fish to toys and cookware is taking place at Church Square. Mulled wine, hot mince pies and cocktails are also available to keep out the winter chill.

Festive songs
Last year, the All Saints Church Junior Singers, Brandlehow Primary School Choir and Hurlingham School Choir all sang traditional songs and Christmas carols to give the Putney Christmas lights event a festive atmosphere, and the 2010 celebrations are bound to be a similarly jolly and festive affair. Visitors are encouraged to bring their friends and family to the carols and Christmas market for a fun and uplifting experience.

Fun for kids
Children will be kept entertained at the Putney Christmas lights with a variety of activities. There's a bouncy castle, car carousel, Christmas carols and an appearance by Father Christmas himself to keep the little ones happy.

The Putney Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6pm, Friday 3rd December 2010. The Christmas market runs from 3pm - 7.45pm.
