They don't have a great menu and the food is medium but it is not too expensive. I had some spanish wine and it was vinegar so be careful with what you order. The place itself is not the most amazing but its roof terrace is spectacular and definitely worth a visit.
I usually come here for an after work drink but popped in for their Halloween party and ended up staying all night- had a great time! They'd made a real effort to dress the venue and create a spooky feel with spiders webs, smoke etc. Some unusual twists with some crazy girls do some (slightly odd) sporadic 'performance art' and there was the thriller dance on the roof when we arrived!
Safe to say that this is a good one for a chilled out drink or a full on night out. Good cocktails, also sampled their pizza recently which was a winner!
I've been to the QoH a couple of times recently and neither have been wonderful. The first time was August Bank Holiday Monday. We started our afternoon up on the roof and moved downstairs as it got colder. The venue wasn't busy yet the basement toilets were revolting. Floor flooded, I don't know if they hadn't been cleaned since the night before and to make matters worse, infested with COCKROACHES. Vile. I then went again (for a friend's birthday, not by choice) yesterday. There was a theatre production being held up on the roof terrace. We chose not to watch and moved inside. When the heavens opened they decided to move the production inside the venue. Now, I'm not a fan of Am Dram, but had I been, I would have gone to a theatre for my fix, not a bar in Shoreditch on Sunday afternoon. But who holds an open air play in September in the UK?! I wouldn't even suggest doing that in the height of summer. Oh and once again, the toilets were in a pretty grim state. This is a shame, I like the look of the venue and they hold some interesting looking nights there. But there's no way on earth I would risk going there for a busy night going by how disgusting the toilets are when the place is only half full or less.
I like the venue ans the music.. but hold on a minute the security are the most aggresive i have come across for a long time. Mainly the so called head of the door staff team. He just about struck my friends face and shes a girl.. no kidding. shame really.
Best roof terrace in London by a mile. Pretty good DJ line ups to. Wicked artwork. amazing sound system. Glad its of the beaten track, it keeps the wallies away
went there for the first time over the summer for a hula hoop session on the roof and loved it... levi roots doing a BBQ too!!
Don't waste your hard earned salary in these stinky hole. Lousy service and even worst atmosphere. The music selection was built in the 90's right when they cleaned their loos for the last time.
