Join Boogaloo Stu for the Queering the Portrait Gallery Tour, which sees the DJ and all round showbiz entertainer give an alternative take on the works in the National Portrait Gallery.

Gay icons
Joined by fellow contemporary gay icon Timberlina, Boogaloo Stu will be leading the Queering the Portrait Gallery Tour and providing his own personal interpretation of many of the works housed in the famous gallery. The event takes place as part of LGBT History Month, which takes place throughout February and celebrates the histories of both famous and obscure LGBT people, as well as the achievements of the gay rights movement.

Late Shift event
The one-off Queering the Portrait Gallery Tour is just one of the events taking place during the Late Shift series, which takes place every Thursday and Friday evening at the National Portrait Gallery. The Lates series includes everything from gallery tours and talks to live music, DJ sets and workshops - for more information, click on the link below.

Late Shift at National Portrait Gallery

The Queering the Portrait Gallery Tour takes place from 7.30pm, Thursday 16th February 2012. Meet in the Main Hall of the National Portrait Gallery. The tour is free to attend.
