Art fans will be thrilled to see the full collection of Quentin Blake drawings at House of Illustration when the venue opens to the public in late 2012. Due to be the permanent home of all Quentin Blake's illustrations, this vibrant new venue will no doubt quickly become a regular haunt for artists and illustrators, and everyone who loves his work.

Quentin Blake Drawings
House of Illustration is a venue due to open in the Kings Cross regeneration area in 2012, which will house the full collection of Quentin Blake's work. Covering over 250 illustrations and with 60 years worth of commissions from magazines and posters, the permanent exhibitions of his art are set to become one of the most popular art destinations in the city.

Big Draw
Quentin Blake is renowned as an illustrator and has worked alongside many children's authors for years. Fans of his work will recognise his distinctive style from the Roald Dhal stories amongst others. He has also pioneered the art of drawing for fun with the Big Draw campaigns, many of which are aimed specifically at children to encourage their creative talents. For anyone who has enjoyed his work in whatever medium, the chance to see the Quentin Blake drawings at House of Illustration is not one to miss.

House of Illustration
Alongside the collection of Quentin Blake drawings at House of Illustration visitors will be able to see a full range of other illustrative work on show. Featuring changing exhibitions and other arty activities, the House of Illustration programme will keep anyone with a love of illustration entertained with surprising and innovative events. You will be able to see work from graphic novels, comics, magazines and newspapers, from both British and international artists, all under one roof.
