Certainly deserved more than the 2 stars previous reviewers have given.

Yes, the food is expensive. Apart from the pleasant decor I found the staff attentive and the food was inventive, pretty and had clean and distinct tastes - tricky for Indian food!

I've had meals in Michelin-Star restaurants that were more special than here but for a one-off treat I wasn't disappointed.

As another reviewer pointed out, the quality of food at Quilon was not quite right for the price being charged.



Quilon had a great ambience, no doubt, but you can't eat the ambience. Plus the waiter seemed to take forever to get the bill.

Too expensive - very few items in the menu. This restaurant may be rated 4 or 5 for its interior decor, but not for food. The quantity is so little that you will be amazed when you see what's in a dish with a price of £20. More than anything despite having 5 star chefs - quality is average.
Service is good, but comes with 15% charge added on the bill.
