Race Cars at Regent Street

Catch some of the fastet race cars at Regent Street in April as the A1GP Pit Stop brings hot motors to London. All 22 nations that are due to compete in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport will be represented making for a fantastic day of fast car action.

A1GP racing is a unique and new phenomenon in the world of motorsport, as all the competitors take part in the same cars and with the same benefits as each other. Unlike Formula 1, this means that each team and each driver is competing on a level playing field, making for a thrilling day of sport from the best drivers in the world. Taking place at Brands Hatch later on in the year, this is your chance to see the race cars at Regent Street lined up and ready for inspection.

With the A1GP race cars at Regent Street, the day will have a full on motorsport festival style atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Get up close and personal with the cars and the drivers, check out the action on the big screen and even take part in great challenges and competitions. Big engines will be revving up and the glamorous A1GP Grid Girls will be out in force too, as the day brings plenty of motorsport fun to Regent Street.

Catch action from the last season of A1GP on the big screens erected for the day, see two amazing Ferrari GTBs that were used as safety cars on display, and kids and family can also get their hands on the race cars themselves with the tyre change challenge. With food stalls, crafts from every competing nation and a fantastic festival atmosphere, if you love motorsport, you will love seeing the race cars at Regent Street in this one off special event.

The A1GP race cars at Regent Street are part of the A1GP Regent Street Pit Stop which will be in residence on Lower Regent Street from 11am onwards on 27th April 2008.
