If you're proud of your own unique style and want to flaunt it for the cameras, then the Rankin Live exhibition is your chance to shine. Celebrated photographer Rankin is scouring the nation to find the most interesting and enthusiastic subjects to photograph for his latest show, which is due to be exhibited at the Old Truman Brewery in August 2009. Just dress to impress and come ready with bags of attitude if you want your portrait up on the walls for all to see.

How the show works
If you want to take part in the Rankin Live exhibition, then email a photo of yourself and a short explanation of why you want to be involved to rankinlive@rankin.co.uk. The lucky 1000 who are chosen can then turn up at the Old Truman Brewery from late July to mid September 2009 to get their picture taken by Rankin. The photograph will be instantly displayed in the exhibition to give a spontaneous, exciting edge to the show.

Rankin's past projects
With past photographic subjects including a nude shoot of Kylie, stylish portraits of fashion icons including Kate Moss (pictured), and even the Queen, you'll be in good company when you finally come to stand in front of Rankin's camera lens. The exclusive, copyrighted images in the continually changing exhibition at the old Truman Brewery will also be available to view online at the official Rankin Live site, so if you are chosen to appear in the show, your face will potentially be seen by millions of people across the world.

Major retrospective
If you're a bit on the shy side and don't fancy participating in the live photoshoot with Rankin, or if you miss out on your chance to get snapped, then there's still plenty to keep you entertained at the Rankin Live show. Alongside the live element the exhibition will also be the first major retrospective of Rankin's work to date, with over 600 images on display across 15 different sections. With a wealth of visual treats to take in, the Rankin show at Old Truman Brewery looks set to become one of the most notable London exhibitions of the summer.

The Rankin Live exhibition will appear at the Old Truman Brewery from Friday 31st July - Friday 18th September 2009. Gallery opening times are 10am - 8pm daily, with a late night opening until 10pm on Thursdays. Standard admission is £10.00, and tickets are available on the door.

If you would like to apply to appear in the show, email rankinlive@rankin.co.uk with a photo of yourself and a brief explanantion of why you'd like to take part. Applicants must be over the age of 13.
