Presented by the same team behind the annual Real Food Festival, the Real Food Christmas Market is the seasonal version of the market that's proved incredible popular with food lovers over the past year. In the past, Southbank Centre Square has hosted a harvest festival, a vintage food market inspired by the diets of yesteryear and the very best in summer produce, and now the stallholders are turning their attentions to the festive period with all the gusto and enthusiasm you'd expect.

In addition to the Real Food Christmas Market, the South Bank is also hosting the ever popular traditional German Christmas market in November and December 2011. Foodies with a sweet tooth can also stock up on chocolate and cocoa products when the Christmas Chocolate Festival makes a welcome return to Southbank Centre Square.

Street food and more
Over 40 carefully selected producers are setting up camp at the next market, giving you the chance to stock up on fresh, high quality and affordable food for the festive season. There's also a selection of street food on sale, which means you can taste new and innovative dishes as you go around the market.

The Real Food Christmas Market takes place from Friday 2nd December - Sunday 4th December, and Friday 16th December - Sunday 18th December 2011. Admission is free.
