Real Food Market at Covent Garden
With free range chickens, artisan cheeses, cupcakes, smoked fish and gourmet pies, the Real Food Market at Covent Garden aims to pack a real punch for Christmas 2013. With seasonal food and drink on offer and fresh produce every Thursday and Friday in the run up to Christmas, there's bound to be something to get your mouth watering at the market.
If you're looking to pep up your lunchbox, then pastries, sausages and fresh salads from the range of internationally diverse delis are just some of the offerings from the Real Food Market at Covent Garden. As well as this and the usual array of excellent stalls, there will be Christmas goodies and treats from specialist artisan suppliers and perhaps best of all, a chocolate bar serving everything cocoa bean related.
Food fans will also want to check out the exclusive guest stalls and demonstrations on show at specific times at the Real Food Market. With extended opening hours in run up to Christmas, the market will continue to host plenty of seasonal events to help you make the most of the food and drink you buy.
In previous seasons the Real Food Market has hosted all manner of special events, from a vintage tea party to a stall run by the UK Food Bloggers Association. The Piazza also hosted the world's largest cupcake and foodies can expect even more special events during the festive season, from reindeer petting to carol singing.
The Real Food Market at Covent Garden is open every Thursday and Friday from 12th November up until Christmas. Opening times are 11am - 7pm. Admission to the market is free.
