Fret not, because the folk behind the huge gourmet food show have organised a Real Food Market at Southbank Centre to keep all you foodies out there going until next May. Browse the stalls selling high quality fresh produce and ingredients and take something special home with you.

Treats for gastronomes
As well as the chance to snap up delicious food to take back to your own kitchen, you can also enjoy mouth watering dishes cooked on the spot at the Real Food Market at Southbank Centre. The market from the Real Food Festival organisers is the latest event to grace the Southbank Centre Square, which has previously hosted hugely popular food fairs such as the Slow Food Market and Chocolate Festival.

Special events
Alongside the 40 stalls at the Real Food Market at Southbank Centre, a range of special events are also taking place. Take part in talks and demonstrations, sample street food or simply stock up on some of the best fine wine, fresh regional fruit and vegetables, raw milk, slow reared meat and cakes around.

The next Real Food Market at Southbank Centre takes place from Friday 18th May - Sunday 20th May 2012. The market is open from 12pm - 8pm Friday, 11am - 8pm Saturday and 12pm - 6pm Sunday. Admission is free.
