After a popular residency at Concrete, Bloomsbury Lanes is the new home of the Record Player club night. London clubbers are used to vintage tunes and retro inspired DJ sets, but it's not often that a party embraces the music and pop culture of one particular year so wholeheartedly.

Party like it's 1966
For the next Record Player club night, London partygoers can look forward to more pop than you can shake a stick at as 1966 comes under the spotlight. From The Beatles to The Beach Boys and Jimi Hendrix to The Kinks, there's certainly plenty of stimulating songs to get moving to. Other artists you can expect to hear on the night include The Rolling Stones, Nancy Sinatra, Simon and Garfunkel, James Brown and The Lovin' Spoonful.

Films and more
As well as DJ sets showcasing the best of 1966 at the next Record Player club night, London revellers can also head to the screening room at Bloomsbury Lanes to watch three classic films from the same year. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Alfie and Blowup will all be screened on the night, and there's also karaoke booths where you can add your own voice to the 1966 top 20 tracks, as voted for by the party going public.

The next Record Player club night in London takes place at Bloomsbury Lanes from 8pm - 2.30am, Saturday 9th April 2011. Entry is £5.00 on the door.
