With live music gigs from big names to workshops for those that are just too cool for school, the Red Bull Music Academy London events are an essential addition to the calendar of any bona fide music fan.
Star performances
Goldie, Roots Manuva, Mr Hudson and Soul II Soul just some of the hot talent lined up to play as part of the Red Bull Music Academy London events, so there's plenty to entice music lovers into buying tickets. Other bands, DJs and musicians appearing at the festival include Don Letts, Jazzie B, Heritage Orchestra, Moodymann and many more.

London is well known for its thriving music scene, and the Red Bull Music Academy London events make the most of the city's iconic venues with gigs at the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank and the Roundhouse in Camden. Other venues hosting special events include the ICA, Shoreditch Town Hall and clubs and bars such as Plastic People and Plan B.
Culture Clash
One live event in the series celebrates the tradition of sound systems that first started at the Notting Hill Carnival in 1959 with a night of cross genre collaborations. Hosted by Don Letts, Culture Clash at the Roundhouse brings together Jazzie B's Soul II Soul, Goldie's Metalheadz, Trojan Sound System and dubstep pioneers Digital Mystikz for a night of irresistible beats and funky grooves.

Other highlight Red Bull Music Academy London events include a roller disco curated by house DJ Moodymann which also features the notorious Horse Meat Disco, and a 3D audioscape installation that aims to take you to a whole new level of clubbing. Other events include live music at the Shoreditch Town Hall book slam, the Sin City gig by bass wave pirates in Brixton, and a fusion of jazz, soul and avant garde music at the Southbank Centre.

Workshops at the ICA
If you want to get even more involved with the Red Bull Music Academy then there's a series of workshops, talks and interactive events taking place at the ICA. As well as remix workshops and talks on the development of pirate radio, the arts venue is also showcasing some of the best music from the world wide underground scene, with techno fanatic Drums of Death performing live.
Free gigs
