Historic tradition
The Regents Park Open Air Theatre has been open annually since 1932, marking over 70 years of live theatre in one of London’s most beautiful parks. The stage is presented in a natural, outdoor setting, promising a refreshing theatre experience in the sun.

Classic theatre and modern shows
The Open Air Theatre has become famous for holding a wide variety of shows, from classic Elizabethan drama to contemporary stand up comedy. Shows for 2009 include the Shakespeare classics Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest, plus a new production of the musical Hello Dolly, promising something to suit all tastes.

Family days out
Many productions staged at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre are suitable for children and family audiences. Audience members old and young can enjoy live theatre in the park's amphitheatre for a unique alternative to traditional nights out in the West End. This year the production of The Tempest is specially reconcieved for children.
