Whether you own a bar, a restaurant or are the designer genius behind one such location or design feature within a bar or restaurant, the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards are your chance to have your talent recognised. Don't miss being part of the inaugural awards. But its not just venues that get to have their say, if you are a fan of design you can vote for your favourite bar or restaurant too.

Open to all UK venues, the free online entry system gives you the opportunity for your projects, products, restaurant or bar to benefit from the exposure of being a nominated venue.
Designer judgingThink your venue has what it takes to beat the rest? The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards will be judged by some of the world's most creative and world renowned names in design and style leaders. Restaurants and bars, projects and products will all be recognised by the judges who will be keeping a keen eye out for cutting edge design. Since the online voting opened, venues likes Zaha Hadid's new bar Home House have been nominated for the award. The winners will be decided with help from the general public too, so even if you are not a venue owner or designer, you can still have your say on the outcome of the cutting edge design awards.

Restaurant and Bar Design Awards ceremonyOnce all the voting is over, the awards ceremony will see the winners crowned in a glamorous and innovative event on 27th April 2009. To be held at Village Underground in London, the awards will be presented in front of the creme de la creme of the UK's leading design professionals and pioneers in the restaurant and bar trade.
The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards are open for entries from Tuesday 7th October - Wednesday 31st December 2008. All nominees must been launched or redesigned between 1st April 2007 and 31st December 2008.
Entrants hail from some of the best restaurants and bars across the UK, including London, Brighton, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Oxford, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, Leicester, Leeds and Bournemouth.
