Take a trip back in time at the retro games arcade at Future Gallery during an interactive night of pixelated play.

Vintage computer games
Harking back to the early days of computer games, the retro games arcade at Future Gallery resurrects well loved consoles such as the Mega-Drive and Master System. The 2D images might be heavily pixelated and less sophisticated than what modern gamers are used to, but don't expect an easy ride on the games that occupied many teenage hours during the 1980s.

Teenage kicks
Regardless of whether you spent your formative years in the gloom of a noisy computer arcade or are a newcomer to the world of gaming, the retro games arcade at Future Gallery aims to keep you entertained with a night of joystick themed fun. As well as the Mega-Drives and Master Systems, there will also be Gameboys and Super NES to try during the 10 hour event.

Retro Flea Arcade
The creation of the Hand Made collective, the retro games arcade at Future Gallery night also includes beer, cider and soft drinks to keep everyone refreshed throughout the night. To contrast with the vintage games such as Golden Axe, Pong, and Street Fighter 2, a futuristic soundtrack will be playing throughout the night.

The retro games arcade at Future Gallery runs from 2pm - 12am, Saturday 7th August 2010. Admission is £2.00 before 6pm and £4.00 after, and all games are free once inside.

The are no age restrictions before 7pm. After 7pm this event is for over 18s only.
