Fans of alternative music are in for a treat at the Reverb Festival at Roundhouse, which sees genre busting performances, unusual collaborations and innovative classical music come to the iconic Camden venue.

Headline acts
Highlight performances at the Reverb Festival at Roundhouse include the Grammy and Ivor Novello award winning singer Imogen Heap, who is appearing alongside the Holst Singers choir to perform a compelling a cappella soundtrack to the 1928 French surrealist film, The Seashell and the Clergyman. The concert also includes otherwordly music from the accomplished Ana Silvera and the Estonian Television Girls Choir, who are performing arrangements by electronic artist Maz De Wardener and the Estonian composer Elo Masing.

New approaches
With everything from folk mavericks to classical virtuosos on the line up, there's bound to be something to interest live music fans at the Reverb Festival at Roundhouse. The unusual collaborations and musical fusions on offer include a concert by the London Contemporary Orchestra with Nonclassical, which features DJ sets and live music covering works from some of the 20th century's most iconic composers alongside the likes of Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood.

Berlioz's Romeo and Juliet
Also appearing during the festival is a roof raising concert by the 90 piece Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, conducted by Sr Mark Elder. The event aims to recreate the vital and progressive sounds of 19th century Paris with excerpts from Berlioz's Romeo and Juliet symphony.

Love Song for the City
The Aurora Orchestra and its conductor Nicholas Collon are also appearing at the Reverb Festival at Roundhouse to present an eclectic programme that pays tribute to the beauty and vibrancy of urban life, which includes music from West Side Story as well as works from Michael Gordon and Richard Strauss. Alongside all the ticketed events, there's also the free Voices Now showcase, which celebrates some of the UK's best choirs and covers everything from beatboxing and classical to folk.

The Reverb Festival at Roundhouse runs from Friday 24 February - Sunday 4th March 2012. Ticket prices for individual concerts vary; for further information and to book tickets, click on the link below.
