Starring Bette Bourne, Rock at Oval House is the story of the man behind Rock Hudson, the ultimate screen hunk from 1950s Hollywood. Secretly gay and in perpetual threat from exposure in Confidential Magazine, Rock was manipulated by Henry Wilson, the man who made him a star and the man who would do anything to protect his money spinning protege. Rock is written by Tim Fountain who was part of the team responsible for Resident Alien, the hit play abotu Quentin Crisp, and stars the amazing Bette Bourne. Rock at Oval House brings to life the amazing and seedy life of 50s style Hollywood before your eyes.

The performance of Rock at Oval House has its red carpet launch night on 30th May, where Bette Bourne will be inducted into the House of Homosexual Culture. This special event will be hosted by Doctor Rupert Smith, and is free with tickets for the Rock production.
