Roots and Shoots Christmas Fair

The Roots and Shoots Christmas Fair returns for December 2008 with more unusual gifts and plenty of opportunity to indulge in mince pies and mulled apple juice. Hosted by the Lambeth charity, Roots and Shoots, the Christmas Fair will be selling all kinds of exciting festive treats from food and drink to the perfect presents for your friends and family.

Christmas trees and plants
Alongside the outdoor plants, there is also a chance to pick up a beautiful Christmas tree that will become the centrepiece of your home over the Christmas period. Shop for gifts
Once you have browed the jewellery, scarves and crafts for gifts, you can get stuck into the organic fruit and vegetables, Christmas cakes and puddings, jams and chutneys, breads and apple juice straight from the Roots and Shoots garden. If the food is too much like temptation, you can always give in a have some roasted chestnuts or a sizzling sausage or too to fill you up.

Festive entertainment
While you shop, the kids will be kept happy with candle making and the children's Christmas cinema, and there will also be carol singing and twinkling Christmas lights to add to the festive atmosphere.

The Roots and Shoots Christmas Fair takes place from 11am - 4pm, on Sunday 7th December 2008. Entry is £1.00, and kids go free.
