went to this on the 8th. really enjoyed it, and you'll need a stiff neck to look at a few tall ones. very beautiful workings. Just don't get caught taking one picture lol.

the iron and baroque workings are a treat, as well as those sketches :)

for any arty buff, go see.

The mere Fact of having such a great Exhibition of Such a Great Artist is best news for the art world. Speaking from Australia and unable to be there, I would love to see Vincent's Handwriting on his letters, as I have several books on Vincent and his art, many prints and another artists copy of The Harvest almost perfect and all of which I cherish. I had begun writing in curly letters and found that it exactly matched Vincent's signature on his paintings...Truly Artistic writing. I then created a whole Alphabet Font of his letters, which I use in my writings and am thankful I discovered "Sunflowers" in 1965 and then the many others. I saw "Irises" up close at Art Gallery Canberra when owned by our Mr Bond. Being so close to such a Masterpiece was a truly Marvellous experience. Thank you Vincey and all his Family Members...Love you and sorry I did not get to know you in real life.

An opportunity to see the work of the 'Real' Van Gogh. Featuring works that I have never seen before and personal letters. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to see this truly great artist from a more personal perspective.
