Celebrate the forthcoming nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton at the royal wedding concert at Albert Hall. The historic live music venue in Kensington is taking part in all the excitement of the royal wedding by hosting a special concert starring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, the Royal Choral Society and all manner of acclaimed classical musicians.

Anticipating all the pomp and ceremony of the royal wedding, the concert at Albert Hall features a number of popular classical arrangements sure to stir hearts in many a patriotic breast. The combination of the grand orchestral music in the majestic setting of the Royal Albert Hall is a suitable precursor to the royal wedding itself, which takes place later on in the month at Westminster Abbey.

Music to celebrate a royal wedding
The programme of music for the royal wedding concert at Albert Hall includes the Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah by Handel, as well as Mendelssohn's Wedding March. Other much loved classics to be performed on the night include Nimrod and Land of Hope and Glory by Elgar, Handel's Jupiter from The Planets, and the timely Bridal March from Lohengrin by Wagner.

World class talent
As well as the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the Royal Choral Society, other world class musicians to appear as part of the royal wedding concert at Albert Hall include the fanfare trumpeters of the Coldstream Guards Band. Classical music fans can also look forward to Crispian Steele-Perkins on the trumpet, Stephen Disley on the organ, as well as vocals from soprano Sophie Bevan.
