RumFest London is a briliant rum festival celebrating the delights and diversity of rum; back again for a second year, this is your chance to try out a whole range of different rums, and see just why the pirate's favourite tipple is back in the popularity stakes.

Kicking off the excitement of RumFest, the Rum Experience takes place over one weekend in October, where keen rum drinkers can try a range of rums as rum experts, mixologists and blenders teach you the finer ways of rum.

Not just for pirates
Once the drink of swarthy seagoers and Captain Jack-a-likes, rum is now one of the most popular spirits currently available in bars, and RumFest London is set to show you why. Over the two day festival visitors will be able to try a range of different rums from all over the world. From Gutemala to Australia, the rums on offer illustrate the wonderful and diverse flavours of different varieties, as well as the chance to taste some of the rarest rums on the planet.

Delicious rum cocktails
And it's not just about drinking it straight either. Rum is the key component in many cocktails, and the RumFest London event has plenty of master blenders, distillers and world famous mixologists on hand to take you through the many fascinating facts about rum before letting you get to grips with a Daiquiri or Mojito or two. Plus, a Tiki Face Off is set to take place between last year's winners Trailer Happiness and the other challenging London tiki bars and top rum sellers, where their barmen will compete in a loud and fiery cocktail challenge.

Comeptitions and more
For the more serious rum drinker, seminars take place throughout the weekend, and there are event cocktail master classes which will show you how to go about creating some delicious rum tipples of your own. Watch the UK's finest female bartenders fighting it out to become the winner of Le Femme Fatale Cocktail Competition and cheer on your favourite drinks maker.

Caribbean flavours
Making sure you don't spend the whole weekend completely sozzled, the Barcardi Dominoes and Daiquiri zone you has set up residencey at RumFest London to ensure that you can grab a bite to eat and relax over a game of dominoes or two. Other events allow you to sample the amazing delights of a rum and chocolate combination as you learn from the best in the business about pairing premium rums with the finest chocolate. Live music will also keep you in a relaxed mood as bands play Caribbean tunes, and you can imagine you are on a desert island sipping rum and playing dominoes in the chilled out area.
