Just because it’s Monday doesn’t stop Mahiki from hosting big club nights. Their regular Mahiki Mondays event pulls in a big crowd of people who don’t have to worry that it’s a school night. Past celebrity guests have included Paris Hilton, Kayne West and Frank Lampard. The Sam Ronson at Mahiki Monday event is sure to be filled to capacity if the last time she did a set at the club is anything to go by. The London-born DJ has been demonstrating that she knows how to keep hips bending on dancefloors around the world for years now and her eclectic sets see her skipping from funk to Michael Jackson to little known tracks but always with the emphasis firmly on fun. Whilst the Sam Ronson at Mahiki Mondays event is the first to be announced on her latest trip to the UK and fingers crossed there will be more, her DJing style is well suited to the club as Mahiki clubbers certainly know how to let loose, all lubricated with a few of those famous cocktails.
