Bringing you a weekend of dance from all kinds of disciplines, Sampled at Sadlers Wells allows you to experience almost every kind of dance imaginable, from ballet to hip hop and contemporary to flamenco.

With amazingly cheap tickets of either £5.00 for standing or £10.00 for seated, you can catch a wealth of dance shows that will knock your socks off. Sampled at Sadlers Wells gives you the chance to see some excellent dance, whether you are a dyed in the wool fan, or new to any kind of genre.

Having debuted in 2007 the Sampled weekend is back once again for 2009, with more shows, more dances, more workshops and more fun. Special events take place in the foyer throughout the weekend and workshops run all day for everyone who wants to get more hands on with their dancing.

The world's finest dancers
A brand new lineup of dances and dancers features at Sampled at Sadlers Wells in January, making the whole weekend jam packed with special performances and fantastic shows. Featuring some of the world's finest dancers, you can see the likes of Spanish flamenco stars Rojas and Rodriguez, French circus artists Les 7 Doigts de la Main, Berlin based b boy crew Flying Steps, and the legenday American Ballet Theatre. The acclaimed artist Russell Maliphant presents a show created especially for Royal Ballet dancer Dana Fouras, and Jasmin Vardimon Company show off their talents with some stunning contemporary dance.

Workshops run throughout the Sampled weekend, and at only £2.00 a ticket, this is the ideal way to get involved with a kind of dance that you have never tried or have an interest in. Last year the Ballet Boyz, Rambert Dance Company, English National Ballet and So So Circus all hosted workshops, so you can be sure that there will be plenty to get your teeth into for 2009. Aimed at all ages and abilities, there will be something on that captures your imagination and gets you dancing in no time.

The weekend of Sampled at Sadlers Wells takes place on Saturday 24th January - Sunday 25th January 2009. Foyer entertainment begins at 6pm, with performances starting at 7.30pm. Workshops take place at various times throughout the day.
