Santas Grotto at Canary Wharf

Children will love the magical Santas Grotto at Canary Wharf this year, which is set up in Jubilee Place and is part of a series of festive activities for kids.

Santas arrival
Father Christmas arrives in grand style at Canary Wharf, when Santa and friends arrive in Jubilee Place on a sleigh pulled by two reindeer to perform in a free family show before retiring to Santas Grotto. Canary Wharf provides a bustling, festive atmosphere for this grand entrance by kids' favourite man in red. Tickets for the grotto are free, although visitors can choose to make a £1.00 donation to Richard House Children's Hospice.

Activities for children
In addition to the Santas Grotto, Canary Wharf is also providing lots of festive activities for children, including face painting, craft workshops and storytelling. The activities and Santas Grotto runs every weekend in December before Christmas, and the grotto is also open on the five days leading up to Christmas.

The Santas Grotto at Canary Wharf is open from 11am - 5pm on 3rd - 4th December, 10th - 11th December, 17th - 18th December and 19th - 24th December 2011. The children's festive activities take place from 11am - 5pm every weekend in December.

The children's activities are free, while there is a voluntary charitable donation of £1.00 to see Santa.
