Santa may well have made his list and checked it twice, but with Satans grotto at London Dungeon, it doesn't matter whether you have been naughty or nice, because you can simply ask the devil to guarantee you a special Christmas present.

An alternative festive season
Instead of sitting on the knee of Father Christmas and promising you've been good, visitors to one of the top Londons tourist attractions can meet the Prince of Darkness himself in his grotesque grotto and hear a dreadful chorus from the Carol Sinners.

Christmas gone bad
Throughout December and over Christmas, the Prince of Darkness will be taking up residence in his very own Satan's grotto, surrounded by gothic and gory decorations such as elves impaled on spikes, mounted reindeer heads, black Christmas trees, icy spiders' webs and robins slowly roasting over an open fire.

Anti-Christ(mas) fun
Created as an antidote to the commercial Christmas nightmare that is the festive season in the city, the Satans grotto at London Dungeon is the ideal place for those that want to get away from all the cheery Christmas scenes of Santa and his sleigh, and all the hassle of Christmas shopping.

Satan in his grotto
The Satans grotto at London Dungeon is very definitely not for those dreaming of a white Christmas. In previous years, the entrance to the grotty grotto was guarded by an eight foot evil snowman and visitors had to battle past a scary snow blizzard before greeting Satan himself as he boiled a kidnapped Santa in a vast witches' cauldron. So who knows what kind of festive horrors await you this year...

'Fess up
Once inside kids can admit to the naughtiest things they've done all year for the chance to have a go on the (un)lucky dip full of disgusting prizes. So there's no need to be good for the rest of the year - simply pop along to the London Dungeon alternative grotto and visit the devil in his holiday hideaway.

The London Dungeons Satans grotto is open from Saturday 10th December - Monday 26th December 2011. Tickets for the grotto are included in the standard admission price.

Opening hours are 10am - 5pm, except on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, when the venue is open from 11am - 4pm. Please note that the London Dungeon is closed on Christmas Day.

If you would like to book tickets for the Satans grotto at London Dungeon, phone 0871 423 2240. Admission to the London Dungeon when bought on the day costs £23.52 for adults and £17.52 for children.
