Looking at how the planet and changing and the human responses to it, the Science of Survival at Science Museum is the latest interactive hands on exhibition for kids. Climate change and the need for survival are the key parts of the exhibition, and will encourage children to see just how their actions now will affect the future.

Set in the year 2050, the Science of Survival exhibition features four interactive characters that take you around the displays and help you problem solve the issues that affect the city in the future. Exploring global issues and looking at the technological advancements that can enable us to make a difference, this is an interactive exhibition that will really get your kids thinking.

Eating and drinking, enjoyment, moving, building and the future city are all aspects of the Science of Survival and during the exhibition, your and your kids will have to think hard about what decisions to make for the best of the planet. Will you survive by making the most of diminishing resources, or will you make the planet worse off by being selfish and doing nothing?

Once Dug, Tek, Buz and Eco, the interactive virtual guides, have lead you around the exhibition and taken your advice on how to make like better and more efficient for the people in 2050, you will see how well you survived and discover which desicions would have been better or worse.

An exciting and innovative exhibition for kids, the Science of Survival may well shed light onto the ways in which we live now, and provide clues as to how science and technology can help provide solutions for the future.
