Serpentine Lido

Located in Hyde Park, the Serpentine Lido is one of the longest running lidos in London. A haven for swimmers for over 100 years, the Serpentine Lido swimming pool is one of the best for both swimming and sunbathing in the city.

Outdoors swimming
The Serpentine Lido swimming sessions are perfect for both experienced and learner swimmers. With a paddle pool for kids and plenty of room to sunbathe afterwards, the Serpentine Lido swimming pool makes a great setting for all activities.

Hyde Park pool
Asides from being so very picturesque, the Serpentine Lido provides Londoners with the longest straight stretch of water to swim in in the whole of the capital. At 110 yards the outdoor swimming pool provides the perfect environment for those that are serious about their swimming as well as those who just want to relax in the water.

Paddle pool
With a large swimming area, loungers for sunbathing, an exclusive childrens playground and a child safe paddle pool, the Serpentine Lido swimming area is great for everyone who loves to be out in the open for either swimming or relaxing.

The Serpentine pool is open on the weekends throughout May 2012, including the May Day bank holiday. The lido and paddling pool are then open daily from 1st June - 12th September 2012.

Tickets for adults cost £4.00, concessions are £3.00, children £1.00 and kids under 3 years old go free. A family ticket is £9.00. Please note that no dogs are allowed at the lido. For more information on opening hours and booking, call 0207 706 3422.
