Shakespeares Globe theatre tickets are now available for another fantastic season at the iconic London venue that boasts some of the finest history known to theatre. Although it’s not the original Globe, which was destroyed by fire in the early seventeenth century, Shakespeares Globe sits just two hundred yards from the original theatre and since it’s rebirth in 1997 it’s been a huge success with many classic Shakespeare plays being produced to critical acclaim. This season looks set to be as popular as ever so make sure you book your Shakespeares Globe theatre tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The 2009 season will again see a wealth of the very finest Shakespearean plays taking to the stage. Your Shakespeares Globe tickets will enable you to see much more than plays from the great bard himself, you’ll be able to see three great contemporary plays from three of the best contemporary playwrights in the world, Che Walker, Frank McGuinness and Trevor Griffiths. Walker’s The Frontline makes a very welcome return after its success last year, with the black comedy showing twilight Camden in all its finery. Trevor Griffiths' eagerly anticipated celebration of the English radical Thomas Paine in A New World is also set to feature, offering an affectionate insight into the man that helped pave the way for the Romantic Revolution. These will be complemented by Frank McGuinness' new take on Euripdes' classic tale, Helen, so if seeing the very best in contemporary theatre sounds ideal, pick up your Shakespeares Globe theatre tickets right here.

Shakespeare fans will be in heaven though as this season looks set to be a real corker with Romeo and Juliet, Troilus and Cressida, As You Like It and Love's Labour's Lost, all being produced in this famous theatre. With the impressive reputation the theatre enjoys you can expect the productions to be of real quality so pick up your Shakespeares Globe theatre tickets early as they’ll be in steep demand.

Night owls can even see As You Like It and Troilus and Cressida at the Shakespeares Globe Midnight Matinees, where productions will run from 12am, followed by a buffet breakfast. For more information please follow the link below.
