The Shlomo concert at the Southbank Centre sees the beatboxing star performing alongside a specially created orchestra featuring members of the London Philharmonic, the London Sinfionette, the Orchestra of the Age of Englightenment and the Philharmonia Orchestra. This combination of beatboxing and classical music will represent the world premiere of Shlomo’s Concerto for Beatboxer and Orchestra, bringing two very different fields together in what promises to be a truly stunning show.

The evening sees a first half of the concert comprising individual performances from those involved in the Concerto, including Shlomo himself and the celebrated cellist, Olly Coates. The whole concerto will then be played twice, sandwiching a question and answer session where you can grill Shlomo and Anna Meredith about the composition. So get your questions ready.
