Bring out the crafty side in you at the Shoreditch Sisters craft night. This switched on and relatively new Women's Institute branch offers craft workshops alongside talks by guest speakers to get you powered up on women's issues.

Shoreditch Sisters craft night
If you fancy a bit of company while you're working on your latest knitting project, or you've always wanted to get some textile know how, then the Shoreditch Sisters craft night might be for you. From cross stitching and knitting to quilting and jewellry making, this trendy WI group provides a friendly environment to learn new skills and improve your technique.

Guest speakers
For a more eye opening evening, the Shoreditch Sisters Craft night also regularly features guest speakers to talk about important women's issues. Talks in the past have included advice on self defence, and possible speakers in the future might talk about charity work.

Like minded sisterhood
With a love of creative projects and a strong grounding in feminism, the Shoreditch Sisters WI group offers the chance to mix with like minded women who like to get things done. In the past, knitting beginners have been taught the tricks of the trade by other members, so the craft nights are your chance to get to grips with your knitting needles and start impressing friends and family with your yarn.

The Shoreditch Sisters meet on the last Tuesday of every month at 8pm, in the Grocery Cafe. Annual membership costs £27.00, or pay £3 for up to two visits. For more information, click on the link below.
