As one of the venues hosting the 2009 London Short Film Festival, Roxy Bar and Screen is showing kinky comedy shorts, mini documentaries, and art house creativity for your viewing pleasure. Admission to some events is free, so you can coast through January without putting further dents in your light post Christmas wallet.

Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn
Kick starting the short film festival at Roxy are the naughty but nice Canadians that go by the name of Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn. This selection of risque comedy shorts designed to titillate and entertain starts at 8pm on Saturday 10th January, and costs £3.00.

Sound and Vision
The free Sound and Vision night at Roxy will be a draw for music fans with a love for experimentation. The creative team behind ThinkSync Films will present a few of their short films that fuse indie film and music, while Zan Lyons and Warp foster a spirit of innovation and interactivity with a series of shorts. A programme including work from Battles and Shane Meadows, plus a live violin electronica set, makes this an unusal night out designed to get you creative synapses firing. The Sound and Vision night starts at 7pm on Monday 12th January

Night of the Living Docs
Another free night in the film festival programme, Night of the Living Docs is a marathon of mini documentaries. Starting at 6pm on Tuesday 13th Jaunuary, 26 documentaries ranging from the deeply personal to the artistically abstract will be shown back to back.
