South Molton Street Christmas Lights

Enjoy an evening of shopping, mince pies and mulled wine and see the switching on of the South Molton Street Christmas lights, when Brook Street, South Molton Street, Lancashire Court and Avery Row are lit up by festive illuminations.

Seasonal event
Christmas carols from St George's Church Choir will accompany the switching on of the South Molton Street Christmas lights, kickstarting the 2011 festive season in traditional style. The switching on of the Christmas lights coincides with a late night shopping evening, with store discounts and special offers at a range of local shops, bars and restaurants.

Christmas shopping
A popular shopping destination for those on the lookout for boutique fashion shops, South Molton Street and Brook Street feature a number of exclusive stores who are offering special discounts and giveaway promotions after the switching on of the South Molton Street Christmas lights. Reiss, Hobbs, Calvin Klein, Diptyque, Jeff de Bruges and Ted Baker are just some of the shops, bars and restaurants taking part in the event.

Free food and drink
A variety of the shops on South Molton and Brook Street are serving a selection of free food and drink during the switching on of the South Molton Street Christmas lights. Tuck into a free mince pie or make the most of all the complimentary mulled wine, champagne and chocolates on offer at the event.

The Brook and South Molton Street Christmas lights switch on takes place as part of The Lanes of Mayfair Christmas Shopping Extravangza, which runs from 12pm - 8pm, Thursday 10th November 2011. Admission is free. The lights will remain in place until the New Year.
