The South West Four Weekender dances its way jauntily into Clapham Common for the second time, as the SW4 festival enjoys another very welcome extension into two days, bringing yet more very fine dance music to SW4 over the August bank holiday weekend. The South West Four Weekender is once again swallowing up the Sunday, ensuring that all those dance fans who missed out on tickets last year will have an extra opportunity to get those toes-a-tappin’ on the Saturday and the Sunday.
South West Four Weekender in Clapham
The South West Four Weekender will take over Clapham Common for two days in August, bringing only the very best musical masters with it, so expect a line up every bit as impressive as recent years. In fact, twice as good as it’ll once again be twice as long. Whatever your musical interests, the SW4 Weekender will have it covered, blessing your lucky ears with everything from drum n bass to disco and from house to hip hop.

Although the full line up for this year’s SW4 Weekender is yet to be confirmed, the headline acts have been, and for anyone with even the vaguest interest in dance music, this will be dance music to their ears. DnB pioneers, Pendulum, will be showcasing their turntable talent, as will the iconic dance duo, Orbital. So expect the South West Four weekend to be full of really rather fine beats and bleeps.

Joining these guys will be some of dance music's most illustrious names. Last year saw arenas hosted by Carl Cox and Friends, Bedrock, The Gallery, Boyz Noize Records, Toolroom Knights and Together, so expect 2011 to be a very fine festival indeed. And if previous year’s artists are anything to go by then the 2011 South West Four festival will be one of the most talked about events of the year so get your arse down to Clapham and shake it with thousands of other very lucky like minded souls.
