Christmas at Southwark Catherdral
This time of year is one of remembrance and celebration and there’s no better way to do it than by joining in with all the fun that the Southwark Cathedral Christmas carols deliver every year. A genuine annual highlight, these carol concerts draw a large number of singers, visitors and luminaries and are always some of the best to take place in London.

Carols for all
The carols take place from the end of November and into December so there should be plenty of scope for those who are busy, or of course for those who want to go more than once. There are also a couple of extra special concerts that will see the lighting of the Christmas Tree and a one off lunch time sing in for commuters.

Christmas Day 2008
For those looking to celebrate Christmas on the big day, the 25th December will see a Christmas Day concert that’s open to the public and free of charge, with readings from the Dean of the cathedral himself. So if you fancy celebrating Christmas with some of London’s best carol concerts the Southwark Cathedral Christmas carols are a very good bet indeed.
