Spinal Tap tickets are now available to see the legendary rockers take to the Wembley Arena stage for their hugely ambitious, one night only world tour. Spinal Tap tickets will see the band celebrate the 25th anniversary of their blockbuster documentary, This Is Spinal Tap, which saw the band’s popularity go right up to eleven as their career went into the stratosphere.
In demand tickets
Those lucky enough to get their hands on Spinal Tap tickets will be able to see one of the world’s most iconic bands picking up their plectrums and preparing to rock Wembley Arena to its very core. But you’ll have to be quick, Spinal Tap tickets look set to be some of the most in-demand tickets of the year as thousands of fans vie for a place in the front row, hoping beyond hope that the drummer makes it through the show.
Spinal Tap world tour
The Spinal Tap gig at Wembley Arena is the London leg, and indeed the only leg, of the monumental Spinal Tap world tour, which sees the band play live at one very special world tour gig, right here in London. The last time Spinal Tap played in London was at the Live Earth concert at Wembley Arena, where by all accounts they stole the show, forcing the likes of U2, Coldplay and Kanye West into the shadows as Spinal Tap won the hearts of the world.
Hugely influential band
Ever since they first began to wow crowds way back when, Spinal Tap have exerted a huge influence over other acts, casting a shadow of superiority over the music industry. And with This Is Spinal Tap being such a hugely popular documentary that still draws in new fans throughout the world, the Spinal Tap concert at Wembley Arena looks set to firmly cement the band’s status as the best live performers in the business.
Spinal Tap support
The Wembley Arena gig will not only see Spinal Tap taking to the stage, but also those darlings of the folk scene, The Folksmen, playing as the support act and preparing the crowds for Spinal Tap to turn it up to eleven. After rising to national and global prominence much in the same way as Spinal Tap, via the hit 2003 documentary, A Mighty Wind, The Folksmen will be on hand to showcase just why they’ve been setting the folk scene alight ever since.
The reality
Spinal Tap are played by the three comic actors, Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer, who will be adopting their Spinal Tap personas for this very special one-off world tour gig. Spinal Tap are usually joined on stage by a celebrity bassist who may, or may not make it out alive, so if you’d like to see whether he does or whether he’ll be struck down by spontaneous combustion, pick up your Spinal Tap tickets and head for Wembley Arena.
Spinal Tap tickets are now available for the concert at Wembley Arena taking place on Tuesday 30th June 2009. To purchase tickets please click the Buy Tickets button or call 0870 4000 601.
