Ceilidh partiesThe Ceilidh Club is holding a St Andrews Day London dance on the 28th November featuring a host of dancing fun that’s sure to be huge with the single lads and gels. The ceilidh will be held at Cecil Sharp House and all levels of dancers are welcome. And don’t worry if you’re too nervous to dance – they’ll call out the steps for you and there’ll be a well-stocked bar if you need some liquid courage.
Laugh Away for St Andrews DayOn Friday 28th November the London Caladonian Club will welcome St. Andrews Day London revellers for a night of St Andrews Day celebrations. There'll be food, music and dancing so there really is something for everyone.
National GalleryTake an historic perspective for St Andrews Day this year, and find out more about who the saint was and how he has been decpited in art throughout the centuries. The lunchtime talk is entitled Painting Saint Andrew and will be conducted in Room 59 at 1pm on Sunday 30th November. The talk is free to attend.
