Whats On

From fancy balls to crazy ceilidhs or just laying low at a traditional Scottish pub, we’ve got you covered. But remember, please leave the bagpipe-playing to the professionals.

An evening at Albannach
Spend a very classy night at Trafalgar Square favourite Albannach – a five course supper complete with cocktails, tasting whiskies and coffee and shortbread, followed by traditional Ceilidh music and dancing and even a poetry reading. You can also head downstairs to Doon for some entertainment into the wee hours of morning. All this costs just £50.00 per person or £85.00 with matched whiskies, but booking is essential. Nearest tube: Charing Cross. Call 020 7930 0066 to make a booking or for more information.

Ceilidh parties
The Ceilidh Club is holding a St Andrews Day London dance on the 28th November featuring a host of dancing fun that’s sure to be huge with the single lads and gels. The ceilidh will be held at Cecil Sharp House and all levels of dancers are welcome. And don’t worry if you’re too nervous to dance – they’ll call out the steps for you and there’ll be a well-stocked bar if you need some liquid courage.
