Taking place every Wednesday and Saturday, the St Christophers Place Live concerts invite you to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life as a variety of talented musicians and artists play live music just for your entertainment.
Mixing up jazz, swing, blues and all sorts of other genres, the St Christophers Place Live concerts bring a little musical sophistication and relaxtion to the well renowned shopping and dining area. With its mix of cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique stores, the atmosphere is always one of relaxed socialising.
The perfect place for a spot of alfresco dining, you can now enjoy the St Christophers Place Live concerts while you catch up with mates over a drink, or enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the great eateries nearby. Live during lunchtimes from 12pm to 3pm, and in the evening from 5pm to 8pm, you can escape the busy streets and catch the likes of jazz talents John O'Flynn and Vasht Gleave, acoustic guitarists Richard Stevenson and Judith Haustein. The concerts will also feature sessions from several acclaimed violinists, harpists and jazz singers.
Fancy a bit of shopping before you eat? Head to St Christophers Place for chic boutiques such as Whistles, Noa Noa, Kew, Mulberry and Noli, before tucking in at Carluccios, Sofra, La Tasca and Cafe Rouge while you catch music from the St Christophers Place Live concerts in a truly continental style. Sunny afternoons and balmy evenings were made for this kind of relaxation!
The St Christophers Place Live summer concerts are free to attend and take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 12pm to 3pm, and 5pm to 8pm until 23rd August 2008.
