Head to the V&A for a range of free events for St Georges Day at the Museum of Childhood. With dancing and plenty of arts and crafts activities, there's plenty of ways to keep your family entertained while celebrating the patron saint of England.

St Georges Day at Museum of Childhood
Marking St Georges Day with a traditional country dance, the St Georges Day Museum of Childhood events at the V&A is suitable for all ages. There will also be more in the way of English revelry at the popular Bethnal Green museum.

Activities for kids
As well as the live performances, the St Georges Day at Museum of Childhood celebrations also gives kids the chance to get stuck into a variety of arty activities. Last year, children could make their very own Green Man mask or dragon to take home with them at the drop in craft sessions, and there's bound to be plenty of similar events planned for 2011.

St Georges Day at the Museum of Childhood is celebrated from 11.30am - 4pm, Saturday 23rd April 2011. The events are free to attend.
