Celebrate St Georges Day at the National Gallery with some fine art. The free events centre around Paolo Uccello's famous painting of Saint George and the Dragon, which is permanently housed at the National Gallery.

Marking St Georges Day at the National Gallery, the ten minute talk on St George and the Dragon by Paolo Uccello gives you the chance to take a closer look at the classic mythology and legends surrounding this popular English saint.

Free talk
Taking place as part of the celebrations for St Georges Day at the National Gallery, the free afternoon talk explores the famous painting of St George by Uccello and the legend of the patron saint of England. The talk takes place at the same time as the live English music concert in nearby Trafalgar Square gets into full swing.
