St Georges Day at Royal Air Force Museum

Celebrate ANZAC day and St Georges Day at the Royal Air Force Museum with a range of activities for children. Celebrating the Australian national day and the patron saint of England across one weekend, the London RAF Museum is laying on a series of family friendly events and displays.

St Georges Day at Royal Air Force Museum
In honour of the dragon slaying triumphs of the English patron saint, the arts and crafts workshops for St Georges Day at the Royal Air Force Museum is giving kids the chance to make their own dragons to take home with them. There will also be displays to teach everyone about the lives and contributions English RAF personnel.

ANZAC Day
Also taking place during the weekend alongside the celebrations for St Georges Day at the Royal Air Force Museum are a series of displays for ANZAC Day. The exhibitions will commemorate the famous Australian and New Zealand pilots who contributed to the development of aviation and the RAF.

The celebrations for ANZAC Day and St Georges Day at the Royal Air Force Museum take place from 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, Saturday 23rd April - Sunday 24th April 2011.
