Featuring plenty of activities for all ages, the Story of London at Museum of London is part of a series of city wide special events taking place in October 2010.

Story of London at Museum of London
Celebrating the diverse history of the city with a series of special events, the Story of London at Museum of London festivities include film screenings, museum tours and special talks. Many of the events are free to attend, and are bound to draw in history buffs and those wanting to find out more about London's past, present and future.

Lates
The fist event in the Story of London at Museum of London festival, the Story of London @ Lates gives you the chance to join a range of experts for an evening of social history, innovation and inspiration. Asking what the future has in store for the city, the night includes free tours of the museum's collection, a look at the new exhibition, London Futures, interactive workshops and a bar. The Lates event takes place from 6pm - 10pm, Friday 1st October, and admission is free.

London Futures Exhibition

London Futures talks
Also taking place during the festival are two debates on business, industry and climate change. Join BBC Radio 4's Quentin Cooper, The Green Desk founder Bruce Halai-Carter and senior adviser to Greenpeace UK Charlie Kronick for a night of spirited debate on Friday 1st October, or meet leading environmentalist Sir Crispin Tickell on Tuesday 5th October. Tickets for both events cost £5.00.

Films and the Big Draw
Other highlight events include a free screening of Danny Boyle's 2002 horror film, 28 Days Later, on Sunday 3rd October. Kids can also take part in the Big Draw art event, Mapping London Futures, on Sunday 10th October.

The Story of London at Museum of London events run from Friday 1st October - Sunday 10th October 2010. For more information and for the full programme of events, click on the link below.
