Teams representing the UK will be throwing down in a huge street dance battle, going head to head in the 2009 Street Dance Championships in London. A host of some of the UK's best street dancers will be showcasing raw skills live on stage, with a stunning exhibition of dynamic routines and freestyle performances, alongside dancers from France, Spain, and across Europe.

Live skills from top crews
Spectators can witness the incredible skills of top UK crew Diversity, previous winners of ther Street Dance Championships competition and stars of Britain's Got Talent. This hot dance crew will be performing an amazing dance set that promises a spectacular display of street dancing full of creativity and style. Other highlights include performances from the other top dance groups in the country, who will all be competing to be crowned the winners in the 2009 UK Street Dance Championships.

New film
Sure to create some extra buzz to the 2009 championships is the news that a feature film celebrating street dance in the UK is in the process of being made by Vertigo Films. Diversity, Unity, Flawless and Karizma Krew are all rumoured to be taking part, so keep you eyes peeled at the dance events at the O2 to see if you can spot some future film stars in the mix.
