Summer at Cardinal Place

With plenty of fun and games to keep the kids entertained, summer at Cardinal Place is the ideal spot for the weekend. Different sessions have different themes every weekend throughout the summer, meaning children can take part in a great range of activities from min horse races to motor festivals.

And for those that love a carnival atmosphere, they can enjoy the live music, and street entertainers as they take over Cardinal Place the weekend before the Notting Hill Carnival itself. Face painting and musical instrument workshops are certain to keep your kids happy.

The schedule for summer at Cardinal Place looks like this:

26th-27th July - Mini Horse Races
The races come to Cardinal Place with the chance to have a flutter on the gee gees or kids can design their own headgear with the hat making workshop.

2nd-3rd August - Mini Flower Festival
Enjoy all the floral beauty ofthe RHS flower shows in miniature as Cardinal Place brings a riot of colour to the city. Green fingered kids can take part in flower making classes and parents can relax with a cold drink and enjoy the colourful view.

9th-10th August - Mini Motor Festival

Get in the driving seat as petrolheads and hotrod fans make the most of speeding cars and boats this weekend. A giant Scaletrix will entice kids and parents alike to play, and speed boats will be up for grabs too.

16th-17th August - Mini Carnival
Bringing Notting Hill to Cardinal Place, summer hots up with a true carnival atmosphere. Caribbean vibes will be in store with a steel brass band and stilt walkers to keep everyone entertained. Kids can join in with face painting and mask making.
