Take your little film fans to the summer holiday workshops at BFI Southbank and spend the day learning new craft and film techniques.

Disney 50
Taking place throughout August, the summer holiday workshops at BFI Southbank give kids and families the chance to get creative at a series of sessions inspired by Disney animated classics. The season coincides with the year long Disney 50 screenings at the venue, which give film fans the chance to see all 50 of the studio's animated theatrical features on the big screen.

Giving kids free rein to make Dumbo fly or help the Seven Dwarfs disappear into their diamond mine, the family summer holiday workshops at BFI Southbank include sessions where you can make your very own animated film. After the workshop, there's a special film screening in the Studio Cinema.

The summer holiday workshops at BFI Southbank take place in August 2011. The workshops run from 11.30am - 1pm, and the film screenings begin at 1.45pm.
