Watch The Itch of the Golden Nit at the Tate film at Trafalgar Square event, when the iconic central London location hosts a free screening over the Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend.

Tate Movie Project
Giving you the chance to watch a free screening of the Tate Movie Project, the Tate film at Trafalgar Square is the latest open air cinema event to take the capital by storm over the summer of 2011. The Itch of the Golden Nit has been created by thousands of children across the UK, and has been produced by Aardman Animations, of Wallace and Gromit fame.

The story
With an original story created by kids, The Itch of the Golden Nit also features the drawings of thousands of children aged 5 - 13. As well as the free screening, the Tate film at Trafalgar Square event also includes a variety of family friendly activities, and features guest appearances from some of the big names who made the film possible.

Cultural Olympiad
The free screening of the Tate film at Trafalgar Square is just one of the many special events taking place across London for the 2011 Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend. With just one year to go until the London Olympics, you can expect plenty of special events taking place at museums, galleries, sports centres and open spaces across the city to celebrate.
