Tea Party on the Piazza

Take a step back in time at the vintage tea party on the Piazza of Covent Garden, where freshly brewed tea, cream cakes, and Prosecco cocktails will be dished out to help everyone celebrate the start of summer in style.

Tea party on the Piazza
Taking place as part of the Covent Garden Real Food Market, the vintage tea party on the Piazza will take place on the East Piazza within a white picket fence, complete with 1920's music, a Tea Dance, and a gypsy tea reader who will be attempting to predict people's futures and fortunes. Vintage Patisserie will be providing fancy dress trucks for people to dip into, so you can look and feel the part with fascinators, parasols, and other retro costumes.

Tea and cocktails
If you'd like to unwind after work with a nice cup of tea, then the tea party on the Piazza will be serving up a brew and a cream covered cake or two for £5.00. Otherwise, you can get into the swing of things by ordering a Prosecco cocktail to go with your cake for £8.00, before getting stuck into the tea dance which starts at 6.30pm.

The retro tea party on the Piazza runs from 5pm - 7pm, Thursday 25th June 2009. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis from 4pm. The tea and cakes offer costs £5.00, while the cocktail and cake deal is £8.00.
